Theron Johnson

Consultant/Workshop Presenter
(she/her/hers)

Theron teaches her students that the entire body engages in making sound. “A Mind, Body and Spirit” concept of instruction…a way to live. By implementing this concept, the student can stretch their mind in a myriad of ways…culturally, ethnically, innate love orientations, self-esteem, gender and so on…

A “Finding Your Voice” concept, a true play on words, “to speak, to sing!

The body is the instrument by which one’s sound produces. One must exercise and stretch daily for optimum results. As the student mentally and physically connects in this way, the spirit is therefore revealed.

Pre-Covid Theron was the facilitator/vocal coach for a workshop called, “Work on a Wheel.” Work on a Wheel was a master’s voice class held during the summer in Omaha, Nebraska where a group of culturally diverse, up and coming vocal artists gathered to “hone” their skills in intonation, breath control, stage presence and the awareness (in an interpretive way) of the audience set before you. Each experience brings a unique perspective, and that’s what makes the blend in harmony!
